Chiropractic Care for Kids

When you choose Dr. Williams to provide chiropractic care for your child, you are starting them on a solid foundation for greater health and well-being. Your child’s bones are developing and growing quickly. Bones model in response to outside physical stresses placed upon them and correct joint motion is needed for proper bone development. Additionally, your child’s nervous system is developing at a rapid rate. The nervous system is the coordinating system of the body and includes the brain, the spinal cord and the millions of nerves that control most of the body’s functions, including the immune system, the heart and the lungs. Chiropractic adjustments promote optimal nervous system function which improves your child’s overall health.

Is chiropractic care for kids the same as chiropractic care for adults?

The basic premise is the same for kids as it is for adults, however the adjustments that Dr. Williams performs on children are not like adult adjustments.  The adjustments are much more gentle and tailored to your child’s specific developmental stage.  Kids respond much faster and more profoundly to chiropractic care than adults do.

Patient Testimonials:

My son Cody’s first trip to Dr. Williams was when he was seven months old.  He had chronic digestive issues beyond colic; lots of reflux and he always seemed tense and uneasy when eating.  he had approximately seven adjustments over a three week period and has eaten like a horse ever since!  You could tell he enjoyed the adjustments and did not feel distressed at all!  ~Dawn F
