What We Treat

WHAT CONDITIONS DOES DR. WILLIAMS TREAT?

Dr. Williams is a spine specialist.  He is an expert at treating neck and low back pain, successfully helping thousands of patients experience relief.  He has the expertise and skill to successfully treat pain and dysfunction in other regions of the body as well.

SO WHAT ELSE DOES DR. WILLIAMS TREAT?

Some of the most common complaints that we see in the office are headaches, shoulder and elbow pain, wrist issues, including carpal tunnel, hip and knee pain, and numbness and tingling in the extremities.  The treatment and therapy options we offer differ based on the condition that is being treated.  Dr. Williams will do a thorough evaluation and develop a treatment plan specifically for you and your lifestyle.

MY BACK DOESN’T HURT.  HOW CAN DR. WILLIAMS HELP ME?

Many of our patients come to us after their medical doctor has run tests and found nothing wrong.  This can be extremely frustrating for our patients because the cause of their pain hasn’t been explained.  Many times this is because pain in one part of the body is caused by issues somewhere else in the body.  For example, pain in the arms or legs is often referred from the spine, even though there is no pain in the spine.  Likewise, headaches are often caused by issues in the neck.

Dr. Williams will begin with an exam that may include x-rays, if necessary.  He will then discuss his findings with you and answer any questions that you may have.  Your treatment plan will also be discussed with you at this time.  You will receive your first treatment during your first visit.

HOW DO I KNOW IF CHIROPRACTIC TREATMENT IS RIGHT FOR ME?

Chiropractic is an extremely safe and conservative treatment option.  It is an alternative to drugs or surgery and has a low risk of side effects or adverse reactions.  Dr. Williams looks at the body as a whole, rather than only focusing on the symptom of pain.   His goal is to help your body heal by making sure your joints are moving properly, address any muscle imbalances, strengthen surrounding muscle and correct any contributing postural issues.
